Position Summary:
Five Star Mitsubishi is seeking skilled and motivated Service Technicians to join our expanding team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles while ensuring a high level of quality service. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by delivering reliable and efficient vehicle repairs and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and accurately according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose vehicle problems and malfunctions using diagnostic tools, computer software, and other testing equipment.
- Carry out repairs, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and air conditioning systems.
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors about vehicle issues, repair timelines, and necessary parts or labor.
- Perform warranty and recall repairs as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Test and ensure proper functionality of all repaired vehicles before returning them to customers.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work completed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Stay current on the latest technical information and updates from Mitsubishi and other manufacturers.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols while working in the shop.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership environment.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools and repair software.
- Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
