Position Summary:
This position plays a vital role in leading and managing Summit program staff, program coordination, and program development. This position is both in and over Summit programming, and works directly with directors to ensure excellence and fidelity in all areas of programming. The Summit Program Manager is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the Summit program team.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Team Management
- Recruit, train, and develop Five Star Life program team members
- Manage all responsibilities and tasks for the program team
- Schedule staff
- Facilitate day-to-day real-time coaching and development
- Keep all program team members accountable to the Five Star Life Culture and DNA, and to operate in their role at a high level
- Manage the day-to-day flow of all programming and program team staff operations
- Support in Five Star Life Summit Programming
- Inspect the work of all Five Star Life Program team members that they are completing their tasks and working on their responsibilities daily
- Maintain a strong Five Star Life Culture
- Establish and maintain systems, efficiency, and productivity amongst staff
- Develop program team members to be assertive, proactive, self-sufficient drivers in their areas
- Care for Summit program clients, teachers, and partners
Quality Control - Policies and Procedures
- Perform routine safety checks of program operations and correct accordingly
- Train on and uphold standards of safety outlined in the Summit Manual program statements
- Uphold, teach, and monitor all Five Star Life policies and procedures for Summit
- Understand and maintain compliance for staffing and licensing at Summit
Quality Control - Programming and Coaching
- Perform routine evaluations of program coaches and offer training accordingly
- Assess program data, effectiveness, and feedback regularly and manage program plans and development accordingly
- Utilize client feedback to make necessary adjustments and improvements to programming
- Ensure that all programming coaches leading any learning center are equipped and able to lead support staff and coach with excellence, following standards of programming, skill development, mindset development, and safety
Organizational Support and Other as Determined by The Business Office
- Participate in team meetings, staff workdays, service projects, and fundraising event support
- Receive leadership and development projects from the Summit Director
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 years of experience in leadership and/or managerial positions
- Experience or training working with students and/or with youth-serving programs or organizations
- Knowledge of organizations mission, values, policies, procedures, and programming
- Adept at task management and comfortable with shifts and changes in direction
- Effective communication via text, email, face-to-face, and in team/group settings
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, work on ladders, and lift 50lbs
- Reliable transportation between properties - which include the Five Star Life Office (Elkhart, IN), Summit Commercial Areas (Union, MI)

Compensation Package:
Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
