Five Star Interiors is growing, and we’re looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer to join our team. As a nationally recognized, award-winning interior design firm specializing in model home merchandising, we’ve spent over 30 years creating elevated, thoughtfully designed spaces for leading home builders. We’re seeking a designer who brings both experience and fresh perspective—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This Role Requires Regular Travel
This is not a desk-only position. Travel is a key part of this role and includes:
- Design presentations
- Builder meetings and walkthroughs
- On-site installations
If you love seeing your designs come to life in person and enjoy being hands-on in the field, this role is a great fit.
What You’ll Do
You’ll lead projects from concept to completion, including:
- Developing and presenting design concepts
- Managing project documentation and details
- Overseeing selections (furniture, finishes, lighting, and more)
- Coordinating and executing installations
- Collaborating closely with your team
This is a highly involved role where you’ll bring high-end model homes to life from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in residential interior design
- Model home experience strongly preferred
- Degree in Interior Design required
- Strong design aesthetic and attention to detail
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead while working within a team environment
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly
