Five Star Golf Cars is the premier E-Z-GO and Cushman distributor for New England offering a wide selection of new, used, and custom golf cars. With locations across ME, MA, NH, RI, NY, and VT, we serve private customers, resorts, golf courses, and commercial clients with vehicle sales, service, rentals, and parts.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our Windham, ME distribution and service facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining high operational standards across parts, service, logistics, and office administration. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in dealership, powersports, or outdoor equipment operations and a strong focus on team leadership and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

 Oversee all aspects of the branch's daily operations, including parts and service departments, logistics, and customer coordination.

 Ensure accurate inventory management of golf cars, parts, and accessories through proactive tracking and stock controls.

 Collaborate with corporate leadership to support initiatives across all regional locations.

Team & Service Management

 Lead, supervise, and develop both shop and office staff to ensure high

performance and accountability.

 Coordinate scheduling, productivity, and performance of service technicians and administrative staff.

 Foster a culture focused on quality service and quick turnaround for repairs, deliveries, and customer orders.

Customer Experience

 Uphold Five Star’s standard of exceptional customer service across all

touchpoints—walk-ins, phone inquiries, rentals, and service interactions.

Reporting & Compliance

 Prepare operational reports for the Senior Operations Manager, including

revenue tracking, work order status, and service metrics.

 Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

 Proven leadership and operations management experience, ideally within a vehicle dealership, equipment distributor, or similar environment.

 Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

 Demonstrated ability to improve processes and team productivity.

 Hands-on experience with inventory control systems or Dealer Management Software (DMS) is a plus.

 High level of customer service orientation.

 Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Compensation & Benefits

 Full-time role | $65,000–$70,000 annually

 Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays
