What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vending Equipment Installer position at Five Star Food Service - Southern Region?
Full Time: Mon-Fri ~ Work Time: 7:00am to 4:30~ Pay:$17-$19/hr
At Five Star Food Service, our Installation Specialist help our customers by delivering and installing large pieces of equipment. The Installation Specialist should be ready to provide stellar customer service, problem shoot small problems and work independently with little supervision.
Installation Specialist responsibilities include:
- Deliver and install large pieces of equipment
- Visually inspects equipment to ensure properly installed
- When not installing equipment be prepared to perform other duties as assigned by manager
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely and engages in job duties to ensure the safety of the company-owned vehicle.
- Establishes a good rapport with service location employees to ensure customer satisfaction through verbal communication.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with installation of heavy equipment.
- Prior experience working with Route Driving/Merchandising.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs ; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis. Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Equipment Installers are required to be at least 21 years old (DOT) and have a valid driver's license.
- Must have clean MVR.
- Must be able to consent to an initial drug screen.
- Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check.
- Must be able to consent to and have the ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card.
- Ability to drive a company box truck vehicle or other assigned company vehicles
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (ex. heat, cold, rain, and/or snow)
