THE ROLE
- Showroom Sales: Welcome clients, present flooring options, demonstrate product knowledge, and help select flooring that fits their style and budget. Create estimates, measure materials, and process orders from initiation to completion.
- Relationship Management: Building rapport with homeowners, contractors, and builders. Manage customer orders, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Project Coordination: Oversee projects from sale through installation, ensuring timelines, materials, and customer expectations are met. Proactively troubleshoot issues with support from the operations and installation teams. Maintain high levels of communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout every stage. Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm satisfaction and encourage repeat or referral business.

THE EXPERIENCE
- KNOWLEDGE: Consistent work history. A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a flooring showroom or similar environment in a similar role such as Flooring Retail Sales, Account Manager, Inside Sales Representative, Flooring Sales Representative, or similar role. An entrepreneurial spirit displayed in self-motivation and professional growth.
- SKILLS: Proven track record of achieving goals and KPIs through design, sales, and closing. Willing to personally take feedback and implement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, and ability to delegate pertinent work. Ability to operate basic computer programs and accurately track information.
- ABILITY: Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a felony/misdemeanor background and driving (Motor Vehicle Record) check.
