🛠️ WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Service Technician, you’ll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their heavy equipment running strong.Your responsibilities may include:
- Performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and major repairs on heavy construction and forestry equipment
- Using strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Applying root cause analysis to solve complex problems
- Working with the Service Advisor and Service Manager to provide accurate machine information, including:
- Make, model, and serial number
- Parts, tools, and supplies used
- Identification of additional repairs needed
You’ll play a critical role in keeping our customers productive and their equipment operating at peak performance.
Experience & Technical Skills
✔️ 3–5 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician or mechanic
✔️ Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment such as John Deere,
Caterpillar, Komatsu, Case CE, and more
✔️ Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
✔️ Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic diagrams
✔️ Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
✔️ Must possess basic tools of the trade
Additional Requirements:
- Comfortable using laptop computers and basic software applications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed
- Willingness to work in various environmental conditions
- Ability to solve problems independently with little supervision
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
