Position Overview
S&S Shell Incorporated is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled mechanic capable of working on all makes and models, performing advanced diagnostics, and efficiently completing repairs to industry standards.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and confident in diagnosing complex vehicle issues without excessive supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics on drivability, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Repair and maintain domestic and foreign vehicles
- Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
- Complete engine repairs, suspension work, brake systems, cooling systems, and transmission services
- Accurately document findings and recommended repairs
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle condition
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop policies
Qualifications
- 5 years experience as an automotive technician
- Strong diagnostic skills (electrical & drivability required)
- Experience with all makes and models
- Own tools required
- Valid driver’s license
- ASE certifications preferred (not required but a plus)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
