Escalation Engineer

At Five Rivers IT, we build and service reliable IT infrastructures for midsized businesses. Five Rivers IT has been growing at a consistent rate of 30% a year for the last 3 years.

We are in search of a Escalation Engineer to join the dynamic team of professionals providing world-class IT services to its clients in the NYC metro area.

Responsibilities:

• Attending customer support requests and service escalations via phone, email or chat.
• Attending to alert escalations
• Performing server and network troubleshooting remotely
• System maintenance
• Doing application deployments
• Follow change control process
• Managing servers and network equipment
• Document and follow procedures
• Work on projects and tasks assigned in a timely manner
  
  

Technical skills include but are not limited to the following:

• Microsoft 365 Suite
• Teams
• SharePoint
• Outlook\Exchange Online
• Intermediate Entra ID knowledge
• Intermediate Windows Server administration knowledge
• Novice\intermediate Azure environment knowledge
• Intermediate networking principles and troubleshooting
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Positive and professional demeanor

• This is a Full-Time position
