Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Designer/Drafter located in Bakersfield, CA. The Designer/Drafter will be responsible for preparing and modifying technical drawings and schematics, collaborating with architects and project managers to ensure accurate designs, and interpreting project specifications for construction planning. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and updating design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and working closely with the construction team to support project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Revit, BIM, CAD software, technical drawing, and drafting techniques
- Knowledge of design principles, engineering standards, and construction documentation
- Strong ability to collaborate with teams, interpret construction specifications, and adapt designs to meet project needs
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Experience in commercial construction and design is a plus
