Job Summary:
We are seeking a Part-time Occupational Health Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join our team to work in an industrial plant in Asheboro, NC. The ideal candidate will provide healthcare services to employees, promote health and safety in the workplace, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Duties:
- Administer first aid treatment and provide referrals as needed
- Conduct health assessments and screenings
- Manage and document employee medical records
- Assist in developing and implementing health promotion programs
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for employee care
- Educate employees on health-related topics
-Communicate with Human Resources and Health and Safety Director regarding employee illness and injuries.
-Perform daily rounds throughout the plant to talk with employees and check AEDs
-Conduct respiratory fit testing
-Administer annual flu vaccines
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered nursing license
- Experience administering injections
- Ability to perform patient assessments
- Competency in venipuncture and vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong patient care skills
Work hours are:
6:00am-2:00pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday
