Job Summary
We are seeking a caring, skilled, and dedicated Dental Assistant (oral surgery practice) to join our team full-time in Orlando & Kissimmee. In this role, you will assist our oral surgeons during a variety of procedures and help ensure patients receive excellent care from start to finish. Your support is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our practice and creating a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons with procedures such as extractions, implants, and biopsies.

• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment.

• Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment following infection control guidelines.

• Provide patient education on pre- and post-operative care.

• Take and develop X-rays as needed.

• Record medical histories and vital signs accurately.

• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

• Provide compassionate chair-side assistance.

• Manage inventory and order supplies.

• Communicate effectively with patients to keep them informed and comfortable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred.

• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or Oral Surgery Assistant (OSA) preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in oral surgery or dental assisting.

• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Current CPR certification.

• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.

• Proficiency in English (bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus).

Schedule
Day shift, Monday to Friday (no weekends)
