Texas Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a full-time Oral Surgery Treatment Coordinator / Registered Dental Assistant (Floater) to join our practice.
This unique hybrid role combines chairside assisting with patient coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience. As a Floater, you'll support both our clinical and administrative teams, helping ensure every patient receives outstanding care from their initial consultation through treatment.

- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
What You'll Do
As a Floater, you'll provide support wherever it's needed while helping create a seamless experience for our patients. Responsibilities include:
- Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization protocols
- Obtain diagnostic images, including Panorex and Cone Beam CT scans (training available)
- Present treatment recommendations and review financial arrangements with patients
- Coordinate treatment scheduling and patient follow-up
- Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service
- Support both front office and clinical operations to ensure an efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Deliver compassionate, professional care during every patient interaction
Qualifications
- Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required
- Oral surgery experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Previous Treatment Coordinator or dental front office experience is a plus
- CPR certification preferred
- ACLS and DAANCE certifications are a plus and may be obtained after hire
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with the team
