We are seeking a talented and energetic Part-Time Body Piercer/ Apprentice to join our dynamic team! We are a W-2 and commission based shop. Duties
- Perform body piercings with accuracy, adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols
- Learn our methods and adhere to our Store policies
- Consult with clients to understand their desired piercing locations and styles, offering expert advice on aftercare and jewelry options
- Maintain a clean, sterile workspace by following all sanitation standards and store policies
- Educate clients on proper aftercare procedures to ensure healing and prevent infections
- Manage appointment scheduling, walk-in clients, and maintain detailed records of each procedure
- Promote store products such as jewelry, aftercare items, and accessories through friendly customer interactions
- Stay updated on the latest piercing techniques, industry trends, and health regulations to ensure best practices
Experience
- Looking for apprentice or Body Piercer with 3-5 years experience
- Proven experience in professional body piercing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work
- Must have or be willing to get current Blood Born Pathogens certificate
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and sterilization procedures in a retail or studio environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively guide clients through their piercing journey
- Basic first aid knowledge to handle any minor issues or complications promptly
- Customer service experience that demonstrates patience, professionalism, and active listening skills
- Artistic ability in illustration or color theory enhances the ability to advise clients on jewelry choices and design options
- Store management experience is beneficial for handling appointments, inventory, and sales operations
