Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in both commercial and residential settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, hallways, and common areas with meticulous attention to detail.
- Handle trash removal.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Assist with light custodial tasks such as window washing, carpet cleaning, or minor repairs as needed.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial cleaning environments.
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery confidently and efficiently.
