Position Overview
Pacha New York is looking for a Technical Manager to lead
the design, integration, and execution of all technical production elements
within the venue.
Acting as the technical authority, this role will oversee
lighting systems, infrastructure, and cross-functional integration, ensuring
seamless delivery of world-class events. The position combines strategic
technical planning with hands-on operational leadership in a high-energy,
large-scale nightlife environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning,
and optimisation of all technical systems, including lighting, rigging, and
integration, with accurate Vectorworks documentation
- Define and manage lighting
systems, programming logic, and control networks (ArtNet, sACN, MA-Net) to
deliver high-impact production
- Review and validate
technical riders, ensuring alignment between artist requirements and venue
capabilities
- Oversee the integration of
lighting, video, and audio systems to ensure seamless live event execution
- Design and supervise power
distribution systems, including load calculations and compliance with safety
standards
- Collaborate with vendors
and contractors to execute, validate, and optimise technical installations and
solutions

- A hands-on operator with
the ability to balance strategic planning and real-time troubleshooting
- Proven experience in a
similar technical leadership role within large-scale venues, nightlife, or live
event production
- Advanced proficiency in
Vectorworks
- Strong experience with GrandMA2 / GrandMA3 and Lighting control networks
(ArtNet, sACN, MA-Net)
- Solid understanding of Electrical systems and
power distribution and Rigging and technical
infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to
operate across both design/planning and live execution environments
- Strong problem-solving
skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a
fast-paced, high-pressure nightlife setting
- Flexible schedule,
including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary Range: USD 165,000 – 175,000 per year
(Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal
equity)
