Role : Assistant Manager

Pay (not including bonus potential) : $40000 - $45000 per year

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing daily restaurant operations, contributing to the success and vibrant atmosphere of our establishment.

What You Will Do :

As a key member of our team, you will :

  • Lead and direct daily restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager
  • Supervise and train employees
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of Crew Members
  • Motivate and coach Crew Members
  • Assist in day-to-day operations, including scheduling, ordering, and team development
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security policies
  • Maintain fast, accurate service and an excellent customer experience
  • Perform various tasks including runner / frontline coordinator, order taker / dining room attendant, grill operator, sandwich maker, fry station, drinks, and cashier
  • Complete other duties as necessary

    • What You Bring to the Table :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math, computer, and internet skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • The ability to be flexible and adapt in any situation
  • Able to stand for long periods on hard surfaces, occasionally in warm temperatures
  • Able to lift supplies and materials
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment is preferred
  • Proven track record of leadership or managerial skills is preferred
