We work regionally and provide a great work-home life balance. Experienced drivers/haulers are paid 30% gross load. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and read and write English fluently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped with specialized open car-hauling equipment.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment ensuring secure placement for transit
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checks on manual transmission systems, brakes, tires, lights, and safety devices
- Follow designated routes for delivery and pickup, adhering strictly to traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, load details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and car hauling
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and operating car hauling equipment
- Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving large vehicles
- Strong understanding of route planning, load securing techniques, and regulatory compliance for commercial driving
