Five-0-Nine Insurance & Protection Planning is a people-first health and life insurance agency dedicated to helping individuals and families protect their health, finances, and future. We are seeking a motivated, organized professional to help lead in our Yakima office and strengthen the experience we provide to the clients and communities we serve.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and keeping a team organized and moving forward. The right candidate will be kind, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership and help move ideas into action. They will have a problem-solving mindset and be comfortable multitasking in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
Candidates will play an important role in supporting our team of advisors and clients—helping coordinate appointments, schedule training events, networking opportunities in the community (B2B), answering phone and email questions, and ensuring our agency stays proactive in serving the people who trust us.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a welcoming point of contact for clients, community partners, and insurance carriers—providing professional, friendly support while building and maintaining strong relationships through local networking and business-to-business connections.
- Support advisors and assist clients with general questions related to policies, insurance options, and customer service needs.
- Lead and support daily office operations, including client communications, follow-ups, and overall office organization, while encouraging a professional and positive team environment.
- Support client retention and outreach efforts, including drafting newsletters, monthly updates to our B2B contacts, as well as client follow-ups, and strengthening referral relationships.
- Coordinate and schedule client appointments, including mid-year and annual account reviews, AEP (Annual Enrollment Periods) connecting clients with the appropriate team member, as well as scheduling training events.
