Job Summary:
The Chaplan School of Hospitality and Tourism Management is looking for an Alumni Relations Coordinator to join their team of professionals. The responsibilities include:
- Creates new and expanded opportunities for alumni involvement that foster positive engagement between alumni and the university, resulting in alumni giving back their time, talent, and treasure.
- Maintains and updates the alumni database to ensure accurate records of alumni information, engagement, and contributions.
- Tracks and analyzes alumni engagement metrics and provides regular reports to the Director of Alumni Relations on program effectiveness and alumni feedback.
- Creates and manages alumni communications, including newsletters, social media updates, and event invitations to keep alumni informed and engaged.
- Organizes and executes alumni events, such as signature events, networking events, and guest speaker series, ensuring a positive experience for attendees. Collaborates with the events team to support alumni-related events.
- Provides support for annual giving campaigns and alumni stewardship.
- Works closely with various departments, including admissions, career services, and academic programs, to enhance alumni relations initiatives and opportunities.
- Manages the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management's College page on People Grove, creating opportunities for engagement within the platform and overseeing the mentorship program housed within People Grove.
- Serves as a proxy for Travel Authorizations (TARs) and Expense Reports (ERs), assisting with coordination, processing, and related administrative support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in higher education, alumni relations, development, event management, or a related field.
Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
