Well established public accounting firm located in Woodbury, Long Island is seeking an auditor to work in the firm's Payroll Compliance Audit department.
This position requires 15 to 20% of local travel.
Experience a plus but will train the right candidate.
Responsiblities
-Scheduling and coordinating on site audit appointments with employers/contractors.
-Analyzing and reviewing payroll, payroll taxes, personnel records and union contracts to determine employer compliance.
-Computing audit results and preparing audit reports.
Job Requirements :
Bachelors degree require. Must be business related degree.
-Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
-Detail and number oriented focus.
-Ability to work independently as well as with others.
-Must be Long Island or NYC Queens resident
-Car necessary.
