Looking for someone to work for at least six weeks starting this June.
Position Overview:
The temporary houseman is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various areas of the facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role
involves a variety of tasks related to housekeeping, maintenance, and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, meetings, or special functions.
- Respond to requests from guests and staff for additional supplies or services.
- Ensure that all areas are adequately stocked with necessary items, such as toiletries and paper products.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist with occasional laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Support the housekeeping team in deep cleaning tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are in safe and working order.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various physical conditions.
Working Conditions:
- May require flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically demanding role that involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
Compensation:
