As a non-profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well-being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our Missouri Valley Physician's.
A Patient Service Representative:
- Greets and registers patients presenting to the Clinic
- Collects copays and balances on current and previous encounters
- Answers all switchboard calls for the organization
Shift:
- Full-Time (80 hours every two weeks)
- Mon-Thurs 7:45am-5:15pm, Fri 7:45am-12:15pm
- Excellent customer service

About our Patient Registration Team
The Patient Registration Team at Fitzgibbon Hospital is a very important area within the Revenue Cycle of the organization. Patient Service Representatives are the first faces that all patients and visitors see when they enter the organization and are typically the last faces that are seen before they leave. The Patient Service Representative initiates the electronic encounters for all patients as well. Accuracy is highly important as all Patient Service Representatives have a direct impact on reimbursement. Federal, State, and Private insurances are constantly changing requirements so the team is always learning and adapting to ensure we are positively influencing reimbursement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Preferred 1 year customer service experience
- Preferred insurance experience
