Job Summary
FITT USA is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious 2nd shift Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse shipping & receiving team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating reach trucks and other equipment to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations practices and adherence to safety standards.

- Required: forklift experience > 1 year.
- Required: familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems of 1 year or more.
- Required: 1 or more years of scanners and computer proficiency of 3 or 4 on a scale of 1 to 5 is required. 5 is advanced computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of equipment operation and ability to adhere to safety standards is essential.
- Strong ability to follow instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate Forklift and Reach Truck to transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Safely load and unload shipments, ensuring safe and accurate placement of goods.
- Perform order picking tasks, selecting items based on customer orders with precision.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Timely reporting of equipment issues and maintenance needs.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
