JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for Swim Instructors who are outgoing, entrepreneurially-minded, and passionate about physical activity, balanced nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits.
The responsibility of a FITNESS SF Trainer falls into the following general categories:
- Member Service
- Pool Area Management
- Fitness Service
- Personal Accountability
- Client Interaction
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain personal swimming client relationships
- Instruct clients in physical exercise while maintaining a safe physical environment at all times
- Create written progressive and scalable exercise programs for clientele
- Facilitate the personal training sales process
- Professionally represent FITNESS SF at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (required)
- CPR/AED certification (required)
- 1-3 yrs of previous swim instruction experience (individual/group)
- Ability to swim 750 yards continuously
- Ability to swim all 4 strokes including flip turns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess honesty and personal integrity
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge in the area of swimming
- Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
- Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Position requires spending time in the water.
