JOB DESCRIPTION:

The basic function of the Custodian is to give fantastic customer service
by enthusiastically keeping the gym and its equipment clean, sanitary,
organized, safe and well functioning by using FITNESS SF’s systems,
protocols, safety measures and schedules as they apply to the
Maintenance Department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide thorough cleaning of all equipment and machines within the gym
  as set forth by the FITNESS SF systems, protocols, safety measures and
  schedules then in effect.
•  Provide thorough cleaning of the workout floor and gym spaces including
  Group Exercise Rooms, Spinning Rooms, offices, hallways, storage
  areas, Front Desk and parking areas as set forth by FITNESS SF
  systems, protocols, safety measures and schedules then in effect.
• Greet members and guests of the gym with a smile while working.
• Actively listen to members and properly handle their requests and issues if
  possible; if needed, transition them to management, or personnel in other
  departments that may be required to give the member the proper service.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
