Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors
- Demonstrate, if able, proper techniques for vaulting, tumbling, balance beam, uneven bars, and floor routines while ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Provide clear instruction on gymnastics skills, routines, and drills to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence
- Monitor participants’ progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement
- Maintain a safe environment by enforcing behavior management policies and supervising all activities closely
Skills
- Gymnastics experience is not required but appreciated
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education with a focus on gymnastics or related disciplines
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children and students of diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster discipline and positive attitudes among participants
- Familiarity with cheerleading, tumbling, gymnastics
