Duties
- Perform electrical diagnostics and mechanical inspections on various fitness machines, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and cardio equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals to accurately troubleshoot issues.
- Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify electrical faults and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and operational checks to prevent equipment downtime and extend lifespan.
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems related to heavy equipment mechanics and implement effective repair solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used in compliance with operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs, schedule preventive maintenance, and improve overall equipment reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical diagnostics, mechanical repair, or heavy equipment mechanics within a maintenance or technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting complex diagrams related to fitness equipment.
- Proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic instruments essential for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in diagnosing faults quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices specific to fitness or heavy machinery is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to document work performed clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
