Fitesa is a global leader in nonwoven fabric solutions, specializing in providing innovative fabrics the hygiene, medical, and industrial markets. Our Washougal, WA facility has an excellent opportunity for a Production Associate (Utility Helper) to join the team.
Requirements
This position is responsible for providing assistance to the production line as needed.
- Making heads
- Providing down day supplies
- Material Handling of finished product rolls
- Repackaging and repairing product rolls for shipment
- Cutting cores, performing resin duties and transporting materials.
Additional Responsibilities:
- General facility clean up
- Machinery cleaning such as screens and filters
- Trash removal
- Grounds maintenance
Educational Requirements and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 3 to 5 Years in a Manufacturing environment highly preferred
- Non-Woven Experience a plus
- Must be willing and able to work shift work - 8 hr shifts. Rotating shift work - Days, Graveyard, Swing.
- Willingness and ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required
