Responsibilities
- Prepare and cut various types of meats using proper knife skills and meat cutting techniques
- Package meat products efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Assist in food production tasks, including trimming, portioning, and assembling meat products for retail or wholesale distribution
- Support customer service efforts by providing knowledgeable assistance regarding meat cuts and product options
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Experience
- Proven experience in food production, especially within the meat or butcher industry
- Strong knife skills and expertise in meat cutting techniques
- Background in food preparation, packaging, and handling within a kitchen or food industry setting
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Previous restaurant or culinary experience is highly desirable

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
