Fitch Ratings is currently seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join its Criteria Review and Approval Group.
About the Team
The Criteria Review and Approval Group (CRAG), reporting to the Chief Risk & Credit Officer, is dedicated to ensuring the quality, transparency, and consistency of Fitch's credit ratings criteria and models. This includes review and validation of historical ratings, default and loss data, and produces key analytical deliverables utilized across Fitch Ratings.

We'll Count on You To:
Work across sectors and regions to gather and analyze historical loss/recoveries data to facilitate research, criteria development, and product development
Conduct data analysis to generate loss and recoveries reports for analytical teams and senior management
Collaborate with other analysts and teams to support production of external research and publications across all sectors
What You Need to Have:
Work experience of 1-5 years in credit rating analysis, quantitative analysis, or a financial field
Strong understanding of finance, accounting, economics, or capital markets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated analytical skills and proficiency in Excel VBA, Python or SQL
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
