What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kid Zone Attendant position at Fit4Life?
DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for providing safe and enjoyable supervision for members and their children by the Fti4Life Vision/Mission statement and policies.
Kid Zone attendants are required to know and follow our policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergency procedures. They must also attend staff meetings and training programs as required.
Training
Must have watched the Kids Zone Training PowerPoint with a manager and signed off on it, fully understanding all responsibilities laid out.
Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out procedures.
- Parents must sign the Kid Zone sign-in sheet before leaving their child.
- Perform opening and closing duties, which include the safety check.
- Update the FDSM or GM on the Kids' count daily.
- Engaging with children by staying active with them.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a positive attitude and follow directions.
- Interacts positively with children, members, and other staff.
- Ability to design and initiate age-appropriate games and activities.
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
- Ability to adjust from sitting to standing with ease.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Child Watch Attendants must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of child care experience.
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
