Role Description The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) will provide direct clinical services, including individual counseling to clients seeking support for a wide range of emotional and behavioral health concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering evidence-informed interventions, and maintaining timely, accurate documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The LMSW will collaborate with fitness and nutrition staff to coordinate care, support integrated treatment approaches, and participate in case consultations and team meetings. Additional duties may include crisis intervention, referral and resource coordination, and contributing to client outreach or educational initiatives. This is a part-time or contract, on-site role located in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential in the state of Texas.
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, with coursework or training in clinical and mental health counseling.
• Demonstrated skills in psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of counseling interventions for issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem concerns.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes mental health, fitness, and nutrition professionals, and to use a holistic, client-centered approach to care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document clearly and professionally in electronic health records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care, with the ability to work respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities.
• Organizational and time management skills to manage a caseload, balance direct service with documentation, and maintain appropriate boundaries and self-care.
• Experience or interest in integrated health settings, wellness-oriented programs, or collaboration with fitness and nutrition services is highly beneficial.
