Fitness Coach

Located in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, The Lift Gym provides Semi Private, Large Group and Small Group training in a tailored, fun, effective and safe workout experience. We believe the key to achieving success in your health and fitness is by providing great coaching with a welcoming environment and awesome program design. We use various equipment and engaging coaching cues and spend equal amounts of time, smiling and laughing as we do sweating and grunting. We favor technique form and safety while training hard to get results instead of jump around with no rhyme or reason it’s just get sweaty and tired.

Our workouts include station or circuit based workout with 10 stations; Supersets while coaching semi privates utilizing a variety of equipment including free weights, Russian-style Kettlebells, TRX, ropes, medicine and stability balls, hurdles, agility ladders, jump ropes, barbells, bands, Assault bikes, treadmills for semi or private training, and sleds.

• The position will require working 25-30 hours per week
• Must have Nationally Accredited Personal Training and/or Group Fitness Certification(s)
• Kettlebell, FRC, TRX, or other specialized training certifications a plus but not required
• Can bring in a book of business and existing clients however they must purchase sessions through the Lift Gym; Coach will receive a bonus for selling or bringing in a client.
• Utilizing social media platforms to promote classes, schedules and share member posts/milestones.
• Must be comfortable with opening and/or closing the gym facility, including wiping down and putting out and removing equipment for training / group sessions.
• Class Format
• Class description and warm up first 5-10 minutes at beginning
• Class lasts another 30 minutes
• 15 minute gap in between classes for Coaches to clean up / set up / speak with clients.
• Must be prepared to coach 2-4 sessions back to back
• Can have a 45 min break in between sessions
• Must live within 30 minutes of the gym as you will be teaching both morning and evening classes somedays.
