Cafe Crew Member

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team at a fast-paced café environment inside the new YMCA Sportscenter at Crown Point! As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. You will be responsible for food preparation, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Duties

• Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining quality and presentation.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining area, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet service goals during peak hours.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in food service or working in a quick-service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the café environment.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
