Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff.
- Oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs and respond to urgent repairs.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other university departments on projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Assist with budgeting, resource management, and inventory control.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Higher education or large campus facilities experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) a plus.
