Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. The Receiving Associate is responsible for supporting daily operations in the Receiving department and assisting with tasks across multiple warehouse functions as needed. This includes accepting and processing inbound shipments, verifying product accuracy, stocking inventory, and supporting order picking and packaging functions. Receiving Associates must maintain accuracy and timeliness in all processes and ensure that inventory is handled and stored properly. The role requires flexibility to assist in other warehouse areas based on operational demands.
Duties
- Accept deliveries and verify received quantities against purchase orders.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness of warehouse best practices.
- Unpack incoming products and prepare items for binning and stocking.
- Accurately label and stock items into appropriate warehouse locations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized receiving and warehouse environment
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with department goals.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, including shipping and packing orders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Availability to work extended hours during peak business periods.
- Familiarity with basic computer functions, including web browsers and warehouse software.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution environment or similar setting is preferred.
