Cashier/Customer Service/Porter

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented associate 18 or older to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, handle transactions accurately, keep a clean work area and contribute to a positive bowling experience. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with POS systems, familiar with sanitizing and cleaning and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to lift 20lbs as well; we value enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude.

Duties

• Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
• Greet customers warmly and assist with their bowling preferences
• Help customers with lane computers and assist with finding proper equipment
• Maintain a clean environment by putting equipment away after each lane rental. Maintains common areas like restrooms, concourse, and bowling area during business hours, often handling spills, trash, and restocking supplies in addition to general cleaning and vacuuming
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Follow phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries
• Support supervising staff during busy periods and help train new team members as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in sales and customer service roles is advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing math calculations

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40 per week
