Summary
As an auto body estimator at Fishkill Autobody, you will play a vital role in assessing vehicle damage and providing acurate estimates for repairs. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for auto body repairs, including parts, labor, calibrations, etc.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the estimation process and repair options.
- Oversee from start to finish, all facets of the vehicle repairs to ensure all repairs are accounted for in estimates conducted efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, parts received and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process to enhance client satisfaction
Auto Body Estimate Requirements (Do not apply unless you have experience as an auto estimator!)
- Proven experience as an auto estimator or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and diagnostics.
- Sharp organizational skills with the ability effectively manage multiple jobs in a fast paced environmentcommunication skills.
- Excellent communications skills for interating with customers and team members.
