Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our floor operations. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management processes and organized stock systems. Forklift certifications are a bonus!
Duties
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize/correct discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move products within our small warehouse.
- Use Ipad applications to perform inventory corrections and counts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to inventory availability and product details.
- Support retail sales efforts by maintaining well-stocked shelves and assisting with merchandising strategies.
- Communicate effectively with team members across store locations to coordinate inventory needs.
Qualifications
- An interest in the outdoors/Fishing.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily responsibilities.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts, customer service practices, and retail store operations is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration within the retail setting.
