Duties
You must have a valid drivers license and vehicle
- Assist experienced carpenter with framing, formwork construction, and installing structural components drywall
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project planning and execution
- Help with installation of framing, drywall, trim carpentry, and caulking tasks
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations
- Participate in heavy lifting, material handling, and site set up and cleanup to maintain a safe work environment
- Support masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and other specialty trades as directed by lead carpenter
Skills
- Experience or willingness to learn various techniques
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and ability to follow safety procedures diligently
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools efficiently for various carpentry tasks
- Excellent communication skills
