Duties
- Measure, cut, and install siding materials such as vinyl, metal, or stucco according to project specifications and blueprints
- Install windows securely, ensuring proper sealing and insulation for optimal energy efficiency
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to complete projects efficiently
- Follow all construction safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses and proper ladder use techniques
- Perform minor repairs on roofing systems such as single-ply membrane roofing or metal roofing when required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining high quality standards
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation and window fitting
- Knowledge of construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics accurately
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses and ladder safety procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, roofing repair techniques, drywall finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, welding, tile laying, and fabrication processes
- Experience interpreting technical drawings and schematics related to building exteriors or roofing systems
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols including scaffolding setup and fall protection measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation between job sites
