Position Summary: Store Salesperson is to assist with all operations of the paint store and store departments. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, product sales, color matching & tinting, inventory management, deliveries, rentals, & help achieve sales targets. The Store Salesperson will also assist customers in the selection of paints, colors, supplies, and products. This position will primarily work at our Ephrata location and occasionally work at our Morgantown location located at 2910 W Main St. Morgantown, PA 19543.Job Responsibilities:Assist with product sales, stocking of inventory, deliveries, & assuring customer satisfaction.Ensure the efficiency of daily operational proceduresAssist Store Manager with training new team membersPromote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established company policies and proceduresAssist customers over the phone and in the store with questions and orders regarding products, sprayers, and suppliesAssist with maintaining & renting sprayers to customersAccurately process checks, cash, and credit card transactionsBill customers for sales of paints, products, sprayers, supplies, rentals, and equipmentPrepare walk-in, phone, and online ordersUnload and load deliveries and shipments as neededProvide a high level of customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the products and servicesEnsure that customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolvedDeliver products for retail customers, manufacturers, & contractorsAssist with tasks around the store and shop such as stocking, cleaning, organizing, etc.Help with maintenance of the interior & exterior of the building & premises.Assist in stores or departments as scheduled or neededOther duties as assigned by Store ManagerKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Previous paint and/or sales experience a plusMust be a team player and demonstrate positive teamwork skills and multitaskingExcellent customer service skills and reliabilityAbility to coach, provide feedback, and resolve conflict.Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team.Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, & problem-solving skills.Enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills and accurate billingAbility to lift 80 pounds frequentlyHigh school diploma or comparable certification (GED), some college preferred.Ability to work a flexible schedule which can include occasional Saturdays to meet business demands.Commitment to ethical behavior and willingness to adhere to company policiesMust be 18 years of age and have valid driver's licenseExpectationsHelp achieve the company's sales target goals/budgetsHelp stay within budgets.Be prompt & arrive on timeBe available when the store is openAssist team members & customers with a servant heart.Maintain a positive atmosphere within the store and team.Be a person of integrity, committed to serving with excellence.Arrive at least 5 minutes prior to scheduled time.Communicate clearly, professionally, and in a prompt manner (emails, texts, phone calls, meetings, etc.)Assist with projects and basic property maintenance as needed.Adhere to the company's core values.Support the company's vision.Company DescriptionFisher Paints is a family-owned retail paint store with 4 locations in Lancaster County, PA, offering a complete line of paint, paint supplies and sprayer equipment.
