PRIMARY DUTIES
- Record truck weights, material types, quantities, customer info, project numbers, and load destinations
- Enter and maintain accurate scale tickets using Fisher Sand & Gravel's scale software/system
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and provide haul reports as requested
- Balance the daily receipts to ensure accurate recordkeeping and appropriate billing
- Communicate with truck drivers, customers, dispatchers, and plant personnel regarding loading and hauling operations
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area.
- Acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner towards customers and co-workers
- Ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise
- Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license/clear record and reliable transportation required
- Pre-employment physical required after conditional offer has been made
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate a wide range of scales accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and record information
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Dependable and punctual with ability to maintain consistent attendance
- Experience in an environment outside the home with computers and various software programs
- Must be willing to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as needed
- Ability to work independently and make routine decisions while following company procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations involving weights, quantities, and measurements
