POSITION SCOPE
The Crushing Plant Foreman is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant; overseeing all operations, both on site and in the office, managing workers, coordinating production and monitoring all site systems. The Crushing Plant Foreman will be responsible for supervising a work crew and inspecting and maintaining equipment.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Supervise work crew
- Assist with setup and tear down of plants
- Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required
- Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
- Ensure that all operations maintain safety, production, and quality goals
- Coordinate with the crew to ensure timely delivery of product
- Report on operational, production, and budget goals and status
- Enforce compliance with all safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate daily and weekly plant and equipment inspections
- Monitor daily cost to determine performance and address variances
- Provide support and operational assistance in the areas of safety, quality control, time management, and communication
- Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
- Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Required 5 years of verifiable working experience as foreman or supervisor of construction crusher crews
- Must hold an M.S.H.A. 5000-23 certificate
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications.
- Must be a Team player
- Must have good understanding of Gradations
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
- Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
- Fluent on Apple products and basic computer skills in Excel and Word are required
- Willing to work long shifts and able to work weekends
- Must be willing to travel to other job sites
