Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records using dental software systems, including Eaglesoft, to ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist with endodontic procedures and other specialized treatments as required.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential for effective patient care.
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus, enhancing overall clinic efficiency.
- Experience in a dental clinic environment will be advantageous, particularly in assisting with various dental procedures.
