Duties
- Perform a wide range of construction tasks including framing, roofing, siding and other various task
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete projects on time.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of plans.
- Assist with installation of fixtures such as doors and windows
- Conduct construction inspections to verify compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers on construction management activities including estimating materials and managing schedules.
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience with various trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry, siding and roofing work, preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and construction management principles is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
