Job Description
We’re hiring a Founding Account Executive to lead enterprise sales and partnerships for Fish Audio’s API platform. You’ll be one of our first go‑to‑market hires, owning the full sales cycle from identifying high‑value use cases to closing strategic, long‑term relationships across consumer AI, media, gaming, and enterprise automation. This is a high‑agency, founder‑track role for someone who builds trust with technical and executive buyers, translates cutting‑edge AI into business outcomes, and loves selling APIs in fast‑moving markets.
Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end sales motion for enterprise and developer APIs: prospecting, discovery, solution design, evaluation, negotiation, and close.
- Identify and prioritize accounts where voice, speech, and audio intelligence create transformative value.
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships with C‑level, product, and engineering leaders.
- Develop deep fluency in AI infrastructure, APIs, and audio model capabilities and be a credible technical partner to customers.
- Partner closely with Product & Research to shape the API roadmap with customer feedback.
- Create repeatable playbooks for enterprise pricing, API adoption, and partner growth as we scale GTM.
- Represent Fish Audio at industry events; elevate our visibility with frontier AI builders.
Basic Qualifications
- 5–10 years in enterprise or API‑driven SaaS sales with a track record of closing complex technical deals (six‑ or seven‑figure).
- Experience: Selling AI/TTS APIs and managing enterprise API deals from prospecting to close
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AI applications no training provided, so you must hit the ground running.
- Preferred Background: AE experience at ElevenLabs or Cartesia.
- Fluency in AI/ML products—ideally selling APIs or infra‑level developer tools.
- Skill navigating multi‑stakeholder enterprise cycles (technical eval → legal → procurement).
