Senior Internal Auditor

About Your Role

At Fiserv, we enable secure, scalable payments and card services for financial institutions and merchants worldwide. The Internal Audit team provides independent assurance over operational, financial, compliance, and information security controls to protect our clients and the business. We are seeking individuals who possess strong critical thinking skills and excel in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and manage the entire audit lifecycle for each assigned audit, including planning, executing fieldwork, scheduling interviews, and conducting audit tests.
• Apply the Internal Audit methodology and standards throughout the audit process.
• Prepare and lead internal and external status meetings.
• Document test results and conclusions effectively.
• Prepare draft issues for audit reports.
• Direct the work of Staff Auditors, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure quality and timely work products.
• Provide coaching and feedback to Staff Auditors.
• Contribute to the continuous professional development of the staff.
  
  

Experience You’ll Need To Have

• 4 years of audit experience.
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
  
  

Experience That Would Be Great To Have

• CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or other applicable professional certifications, or a desire to pursue a certification.
• Experience applying Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and utilizing risk-based internal audit methodologies.
• Experience working in a larger audit environment handling various audit areas and degrees of complexity.
• Previous experience with one or more of the following: SAS Software, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analysis tools.
  
  

How You’ll Work

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
• This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
  
  

Travel

• Approximately 30% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Salary Range

$90,000.00 - $144,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
