Job Title Senior Accountant What does a successful Senior Accountant do at Fiserv? A successful senior accountant demonstrates a profound understanding of the intricacies related to business operations and essential processes. The ideal candidate excels in collaborative efforts with diverse teams and thrives in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment. Within this role, there are abundant project opportunities, including integrating processes with acquired companies, standardizing procedures across the entire Fiserv organization, and actively participating in an ERP integration project. What you will do: Ensure accurate addition and maintenance of fixed asset entries, including tangible and intangible assets, in the system. Collaborate closely with personnel from different departments to ensure adherence to GAAP and Fiserv accounting policies and procedures during asset capitalization. Explore opportunities to enhance or streamline current fixed asset procedures beyond typical month-end close processes. Perform tasks such as extracting and analyzing data, posting relevant journal entries, and preparing reconciliations and reports. Meet designated deadlines by applying analytical and organizational skills. What you will need to have: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a combination of work, education, and military experience.
